Shooting for Sterling Ropes in Yosemite was one of those days where everything just felt right. We were posted up on granite at Camp 4, surrounded by some of the most iconic climbing terrain in the world. The rock has history, texture, and weight to it, and you feel that the second you step onto it. Every frame carried that legacy, whether we were tight on the hands or pulled back to let the wall speak for itself.
This shoot was all about partnership and shared vision. Working alongside friends made it effortless to bring the idea to life, blending intention with play. We focused on the tenacity of climbing, the quiet focus on exposed trad lines, and the moments of laughter in between. There was real commitment in the movement, but also a lightness that reminded you why people fall in love with climbing in the first place. It was pure Yosemite. Fun, raw, and unforgettable.
